Southco has expanded its A4 Pin Latch portfolio with the launch of a new Push-to-Open / Push-to-Close stainless steel pin latch, engineered to deliver clean aesthetics, corrosion resistance, and reliable performance in demanding environments.
Achieve effortless Push-to-Open and Push-to-Close operation without the need for exterior handles or knobs. Installed discreetly between panel and frame surfaces, the new A4 Pin Latch combines a space-saving footprint with a flush-mounted appearance. A single-hole mounting design simplifies panel preparation while supporting efficient installation across doors, panels and enclosure applications where a discreet appearance and simple actuation are important.

Technical Specification
The new A4 Pin Latch has a passivated finish, a diameter of 17.16 mm (0.67 in) and a 26.35 mm (1.03 in) body dimension, with an M6 x 1 thread. The floating receptacle option provides up to ±1.0 mm (±0.04 in) of float to accommodate panel misalignment and help maintain smooth, repeatable engagement.
Constructed entirely from stainless steel the A4 Pin Latch is suited to access applications such as doors, panels and enclosures, including equipment used in demanding marine and aerospace environments where corrosion resistance and repeated operation are important. It can also be used in place of traditional cam or slam latches where a streamlined, unobtrusive panel design is desired.
To further support installation flexibility, the A4 Push-to-Open / Push-to-Close Pin Latch incorporates side- and rear-mounting holes, giving designers greater freedom when integrating the latch into equipment, doors, panels and enclosures.
