ROLLON TO EXHIBIT AT AMB 2024

At the fair, the focus will be on Shuton-Ipiranga high performance ball screws, Rosa Sistemi roller guides and the wide range of linear guides, telescopic slides and actuators.

Rollon is one of the world’s leading suppliers of linear motion solutions. Whether moving rotary tables, tool heads, automatic doors, loading and unloading systems, pull-out drawers, operating elements or robots and cobots, Rollon provides the machine tool industry with a wide range of products and solutions that ensure high process efficiency and reliability.

At AMB, visitors to Rollon/Shuton-Ipiranga’s stand 2C40 in Hall 2 will be able to discover the complete range of products within the Rollon by Timken ecosystem and learn about their benefits. The focus will be on high performance ball screws from Shuton-Ipiranga and linear guides from Rosa Sistemi.

Ball screws for high accuracy
Shuton-Ipiranga is known for its high precision ball screws and is a major player in the machine tool industry. The XP Xtrem Position product family was developed with a focus on linear motion in machine tools and is characterised by maximum rigidity, dynamics and positioning accuracy. It is available in two versions – COMPLEX and PRIME – and allows a high number of cycles with extreme reliability. The COMPLEX series is designed for high speeds and loads and is used, for instance, in five-beam machining centres, multi-spindle machines and mould and die machines. The PRIME series consists of high precision ball screws with a short pitch for medium-speed applications such as grinding machines or EDM machines.

Ball screws for high loads
If heavy-duty solutions are required, e.g. in the injection moulding, energy, lifting and press sectors, the XL Xtrem Load product family is the optimal choice. In fact, XL XTrem Load ball screws have been optimised for heavy-duty applications and guarantee maximum load capacity, dynamics and efficiency. They are available in three types to meet different requirements in terms of load capacity and speed and to achieve optimum lifetime: IML, HDL, PKL.

Linear guides for high loads and high accuracy
MG Rail from Rosa Sistemi offers an answer to the increasing technological challenges in machine tool construction. The linear guide with recirculating rollers is equipped with hardened and ground raceways and meets 100% of the industry’s requirements for accuracy, dynamics and efficiency. Thanks to its high load capacity, exceptional rigidity, innovative lubrication system and high reliability even in dirty environments, MG Rail is the ideal solution for high accuracy positioning.

Wide range of solutions
Rollon also offers other technologies for fast and precise handling of parts and tools. Machine doors, for example, can benefit from Rollon’s self-aligning linear guides Compact Rail and X-Rail. Thanks to their self-aligning capability, inaccuracies in the mounting surfaces can be compensated for quickly and easily. Telescopic Rail slides have minimal deflection even under maximum load when fully extended: ideal for pull-out elements such as drawers and control panels. If you want to use your robots and cobots more efficiently, you can significantly extend their reach with a Robot Transfer Unit (RTU).

Linear technology for machine tools
Thanks to its wide range of products and extensive experience in the industry, Rollon is able to provide the most suitable linear motion technology for individual application requirements. All solutions are developed for maximum performance and reliability and ensure high productivity, optimum product quality and smooth operation, whether standard products or customised ones.

The Rollon team looks forward to seeing you at AMB, Hall 2, Stand 2C40.
