EOS AlSi10Mg Now Produced with 100% Recycled Feedstock
EOS now produces Aluminium AlSi10Mg with 100% recycled feedstock, cutting CO2e by 77% from prior material and 83% versus virgin AlSi10Mg.

As one of the world’s largest AM original equipment manufacturers, this is yet another step toward minimizing the climate impact of manufacturing.
EOS Aluminium AlSi10Mg was first added to EOS’s Responsible Products portfolio in April 2024 when it began incorporating 30% recycled feedstock, achieving a 25% CO2e reduction. While EOS Aluminium AlSi10Mg now employs 100% recycled feedstock, the resulting material maintains the same properties, characteristics and performance in additively manufactured parts, ensuring existing customers do not need to requalify applications.
EOS Aluminium AlSi10Mg specifications:
- Chemical composition standard: AlSi10Mg
- Ultimate tensile strength: 460 MPa
- Yield strength: 245 MPa
- Elongation at break: 5%
- Good thermal and electrical conductivity with possibility of heat treatment
