KL 35 L SECURE HOLD FOR THE TOP-HAT RAIL

The development of the so-called top-hat rail, nowadays also known as TS 35, dates back to the 1920s and serves as a universal mounting method for various applications in the fields of automation, control, regulation and measurement technology.

KL 35 L SECURE HOLD FOR THE TOP-HAT RAIL

In electrical installation technology, the top-hat rail is referred to as a metal mounting rail, which resembles a hat in appearance. Top-hat rails with a width of 35mm have established themselves on the market over the years and are standardised according to DIN EN 60715. By means of top-hat rails and a suitable fastening element, individual components, e.g. in a switch cabinet, can be mounted directly from the front, which greatly simplifies and accelerates the installation. Especially for these applications, Fischer Elektronik has extended their existing aluminium rail mounting KL 35 by further modifications. With immediate effect, the solid extruded profile with integrated wire-forming spring made of stainless steel, also with already drilled holes for M4 countersunk screws or slotted holes for variable positioning and fixing by means of M3 as well as M4 screws, is available. The mounting rail fastenings with already inserted machining are available from stock in the standard lengths of 40, 50, 75 and 100mm. As a standard, the above mentioned versions are offered in natural anodised surface. In addition to mechanical processing, Fischer Elektronik's core competences also include surface coating, so that further mechanical processing such as hole patterns and distances, thread types and sizes, surfaces in black anodised or electrically conductive in transparent passivated as well as several pressed-in wire form springs for increasing the holding force can be realised according to customer specifications.
