Okuma Deutschland will be exhibiting at NORTEC, which will take place at the Messe Hamburg exhibition centre from 23 to 26 January 2024.

OKUMA PRESENTS CNC INNOVATIONS AT NORTEC

At Okuma’s stand 340 in Hall A1, visitors can witness for themselves the extensive range of solutions offered by the MULTUS B300II in detailed demos and live machining sessions: In addition to turning and milling, the machine is also capable of high-speed inclined axis machining. Maximum performance is ensured for the entire machining of small and medium batch sizes with its 2-spindle design and a main spindle speed of up to 5000 min-1. The integrated multitool function maximises time savings. At the same time, the fully redesigned machine gives users more possibilities for ergonomic working.

Intelligent technology for maximum process reliability
The MULTUS B300II uses Okuma’s proprietary Collision Avoidance System for optimal machining quality and machine performance. This function prevents collision-related damage to machines and workpieces in the process simulation even before production begins. Potential collisions are detected early, and processes are stopped if necessary.

Next-generation smart machine control
Okuma will also showcase the new, innovative version of the CNC control OSP at the trade show. It provides users with even greater ease of use, incorporates sophisticated precautions against cyberattacks, and ensures maximum efficiency and precision thanks to intelligent upgrades. It also helps to reduce CO2 emissions due to its exceptional energy efficiency. Trade visitors will be able to experience the OSP-P500 and its excellent user-friendliness immediately at the trade fair stand.
