Tungaloy Corporation announces the expansion of the AH715 grade to the chamfering heads of the TungMeister series.
The TungMeister series is a revolutionary head exchangeable end mill system that accommodates a wide range of machining applications with its diverse head shapes, from square type to chamfer type and T-slot type, and a rich lineup of shanks. The system significantly reduces tool change time to about one-tenth of that of conventional solid-end mills, greatly reducing machine downtime.
This time, the AH715 grade will be expanded to the VCP and VCW-type chamfering heads of the TungMeister series. The VCP type is a versatile chamfering head, and three head types with tool diameters of ø20 mm and chamfer angles of 30°, 45°, and 60° will be expanded. The VCW type is a unique chamfering head capable of back chamfering through holes with its proprietary cutting-edge shape.
The AH715 grade combines a multilayered PVD coating film with a dedicated carbide substrate that excels in wear resistance and chipping resistance. Its superior wear resistance ensures stable long tool life even in high-speed machining.
