Seco Double Quattromill® 14 Maximizes Low-Horsepower Machine Performance

The new Seco Tools Double Quattromill® 14 cutter allows shops with lower horsepower machines to maximize their face milling operations. The face milling cutter uses double sided inserts with 8 cutting edges for cost-effectiveness as well as for increased in depths of cut in roughing, semi finishing and finishing operations. Seco designed the Double Quattromill® 14 as a smaller version of the company’s Double Quattromill® 22, which is ideal for large machines with higher horsepower and torque capabilities.

Southco has expanded its line of A3 Slide Latches with a new version that is 35% shorter than Southco’s smallest A3 product series, providing reliable performance for applications where space is at a premium. The mini A3 Slide Latch is suitable for the smallest applications including rack-mount servers, automotive storage panels and general enclosures.

The machine tools manufacturer, Cincinnati VR, has chosen Commander ID 300 for its new range of drills

Pursuing its constant innovation approach aimed at making its machines increasingly ergonomic and automated, Cincinnati VR has chosen to equip its new pillar drill-thread cutter with a new integrated variable speed motor, the Commander ID300 from Leroy-Somer. This drive solution enables adaptation of the spindle rotation speed according to the material being worked, for a better-quality machining result.
