Laser cutting and automated bending solutions

Bystronic will participate in Global Industrie 2026, taking place from March 30 to April 2 at Paris-Nord Villepinte. At stand Hall 6 – E143, the company will showcase several technologies for sheet metal processing, including automated laser cutting systems, next-generation bending machines and a software platform designed to manage digital production workflows.

The demonstrations highlight the integration of manufacturing equipment with digital tools aimed at improving productivity and production flow management in the sheet metal industry.

Configurable laser cutting system
One of the new solutions presented is ByCut, a laser cutting machine designed to integrate into different manufacturing environments. The system can be configured for both simple and complex production layouts through multiple machine arrangement options.

The machine is based on a modular architecture that enables different configuration combinations. Five equipment packages can be selected and combined according to production requirements. Its mechanical and optical components are designed to ensure reliability and stable cutting performance for sheet metal applications.

Automated sheet handling
The ByLoader Flex system automates the loading and unloading of sheet metal in laser cutting machines. The solution aims to reduce manual handling while maintaining continuous production flow.

The system is designed for rapid installation in order to minimize production downtime. It also maintains open access to the laser’s shuttle table, allowing additional handling systems such as conveyors to be used when required.

Advanced industrial bending technology
For forming operations, Bystronic presents the Xpert Pro press brake, designed to process components across a wide range of material strengths and thicknesses.

The machine integrates dynamic crowning technology and a patented pressure reference system to ensure consistent bending accuracy. This design supports repeatable quality when producing parts with different geometries and material properties.

Software platform for digital sheet metal production
The BySoft Suite software complements the production equipment by enabling job programming and monitoring of manufacturing processes.

The platform connects different stages of sheet metal processing—from job preparation to production control—helping manufacturers implement digital workflows and improve operational coordination across their production systems.
