Former hyperMILL® distribution partner now part of OPEN MIND
OPEN MIND acquires CNC-Consult.
On the 1st of January 2021 OPEN MIND Technologies AG, one of the leading developers of CAD/CAM solutionshas taken over Dutch-based CNC-Consult & Automation BV. CNC-Consult, which has served for many years as a distribution partner for the hyperMILL® CAD/CAM suite, has now become the sixteenth subsidiary in the global OPEN MIND network. Going forward, the company will be recognised under the name OPEN MIND Technologies Benelux BV.
CNC-Consult has successfully operated as a software distributor and consultancy for the manufacturing industry in the Benelux countries for 25 years. During this time, it has also offered professional support for all hyperMILL® users across the region. Maarten van Teeffelen, founder and CEO of CNC-Consult, stepped away from day-to-day operations at the end of 2020 and OPEN MIND was his preferred partner to acquire his company. “I’m really pleased that we were able to work with OPEN MIND to find the best possible solution for both companies as well as our customers. Our team can continue to do what they do best: market and distribute hyperMILL®,” reports Maarten van Teeffelen.
