In spring 2025, Dome Auctions will organize four auctions of young and modern machinery fleets from Switzerland. The Marton AG auction has now been successfully completed. The focus is now on two new auctions: that of aluminium and plastic profiles processing company Progin SA and the high-end machine tool factory Big Kaiser. In total, several dozen premium CNC metal, plastic and aluminium processing machines will come under the hammer.

Progin SA: Bystronic automatic laser cutting machine and Elumatic and Emmegi profile processing machines.

Progin AG, based in Bulle, Switzerland, was a family-owned company specialising in the production of profiles and sheet metal parts for the building and facade industry. Despite significant investments until just before the bankruptcy, the economic situation led to a company closure. This now presents opportunities for companies looking to expand their machinery fleet with young and high-quality sheet metal working equipment.

One of the highlights in the auction is the 2018 Bystronic laser cutting machine BySprint Fiber 4020. This laser cutting machine has a capacity of 4 x 2 m and features a 4 kW fibre laser unit (comparable to 6 kW in CO2) and is equipped with an automated loading and unloading system, ideal for unmanned production. Furthermore, the auction includes 6 modern Elumatic and Emmegi CNC profile processing machines and more than 1,000 sheets of different metals, in a variety of sizes and qualities - an interesting addition for companies operating in the sheet metal processing industry.

Progin's online auction runs until 5 June. Interested parties can view the machines and stock during the viewing day on 28 May.

Big Kaiser: Premium CNC machines and grinding machines during physical ticket sale (read private sale):

Parallel to the Progin auction, Dome Auctions is also organising a physical ticket sale for Big Kaiser's modern CNC machine park in Rümlang. Big Kaiser, known for its high-quality manufacturing of tools for the machining industry, has ended its manufacturing operations in Switzerland following a global restructuring.

The sale includes 29 high-quality CNC machines, all premium brands and relatively to very young. An absolute highlight is the 2023 Studer S33 universal cylindrical grinder, equipped with an MK4 grinding head with two motor spindles, which allows complex workpieces to be ground in a single fixture. The machine has less than 2,700 production hours and is in new condition.

Also of great interest is the 2022 Index G220 turning-milling combination, including PROFimat bar feeder and an automated take-out unit, designed for manless production of complex turning/milling parts. In addition, a young 2019 DMG Mori CLX 350 CNC turning machine will be offered, complete with Breuning bar feeder, 43 Hainbuch collets and 70 driven tools for under-turret (VDI 30).

  • Mikron VCE 1200 P 3-axis CNC milling machine, equipped with Renishaw measuring probes and StepTec spindle;
  • Various Studer grinding machines, a Kellenberger Varia RS175/1000 (built 2001) and a Rosa Ermando SL 11.7 surface grinder (2012).

The physical ticket sale will take place on 15 May at Big Kaiser's factory hall in Rümlang, Switzerland. Sold is sold. The sale starts at 10am and runs until 3pm.
